Chilean representatives visit Finnova
Some twenty Chilean public representatives made up of mayors and municipal associations attended an event in Brussels on 13 December where the challenge of open innovation was discussed with the aim of improving the quality of life in cities.
Finnova transferred its experience promoting startups such as Miracoil, Azahar, Kien Mou, Miniturb or Apsu among others, which have developed innovative technologies to improve waste or water management, and proposed different solutions depending on the needs of each municipality.
Another project that attracted interest and was well received was NOBEL GRID, which develops smart and clean solutions for the electricity market. This initiative offered a broad vision of how Chilean municipalities can improve their electricity networks thanks to innovative technologies such as those developed by NOBEL GRID.
The event was also attended by Lars Erik Forsberg, Deputy Head of the European Commission’s DG Connect unit, who explained different methods of collaboration between Latin America and Europe.
